Hesarak Ghaffari Agricultural Institute with more than 70 years history of producing various types of agricultural products, located near to Shahriar a township in Alborz province, played a significant role in agriculture of Alborz province even Iran.
The territory of this complex is more than 730 hectares of farming lands of which approximately 200 hectares was allocated for gardening and the rest was appropriated for farming. In farming lands various types of grains, fruit vegetables, domesticated animals' forage (feed), etc. and in its gardens the various types of high quality fruits such as grapes, apples, apricots, peaches, plums, walnuts, black cherries, date plums, etc. have been cultivated and offered to the market.
It is to be noted that by the countless favors and gifts of almighty god, the progress and promotion of this complex is indebted to round-the-clock troubles of Ghaffari brothers in development and maintenance of agriculture and entrepreneurship in the region.
Then, Ghaffari Cultivation and Industry Cooperative with trade name of Behkesht was established to achieve the following purposes:
- Promote scientific and modern agriculture,
- Increase qualitative and quantitative productivity of crops
- Production and direct supply of raw and processed products,
- Optimal use of all facilities to develop agriculture, animal husbandry, and fishery,
- Entrepreneurship and training committed and expert manpower,
- Move towards activity with update global standards.
